Breaking news from New Delhi

The 4th OECD World Forum on Statistics, Knowledge and Policy started in New Delhi on 16 October 2012. 


During the inauguration of the exhibition area, the e-Frame stand received great attention and the visit of the EU Commissioner Mr Algirdas Šemeta and his delegation. 


The exhibition stall of the e-Frame project is being receiving great attention from numerous visitors interested in the projects and asking more about it, taking the informative materials exhibited. 


The Nobel Prize, Prof. Joseph Stiglitz, member of the e-Frame Advisory Board, joined Mr Enrico Giovannini, Istat President, in a visit. 


The stand is animated with impressive posters on the main project features and objectives.


On the first day, in the roundtable “From Busan to New Delhi" Mr Enrico Giovannini acknowledged e-Frame project and the commitment of EU Commission in strengthening the use of wellbeing indicators for evidence based policies.


During the lunchtime seminar on the Wikiprogress Networks, e-FrameNet – The European network on Measuring Progress implemented by e-Frame project, was illustrated by Ms Donatella Fazio and very well received by the participants.


Marina Signore, e-Frame Project Coordinator, and Rutger Hoekstra, co-chair of e-Frame Consortium Management Board, were also attending the World Forum and leading the e-Frame delegation.
