1st ONS annual report and new nef report on well-being

On 20 November 2012 the UK Measuring National Well-being Programme published its first full annual report “Measuring National Well-being: Life in the UK 2012”, which provides a unique overview of well-being in the UK today in terms of economy, people, and the environment.

On the same date, to coincide with the Programme’s second anniversary launched by ONS on 2010, nef (the new economics foundation) published the report “Well-being patterns uncovered”. The main themes covered are Ethnicity, Employment patterns, Working hours, Local variation and Inequality. The findings of the report provide invaluable information, both for policy-makers and civil society and advocacy groups.
